Note from Founder:

Lyrical Rhapsody Foundation is founded on the belief that the creative process of the expressive arts cultivates and enhances the therapeutic process of healing. Participation in the expressive arts creates an environment in which an individual is free to express innermost emotions, thoughts and experiences through creative modalities including music, poetry, writing/storytelling, painting, drawing, playing of musical instrument, dance and through countless expressive art therapy techniques.

Artistic self-expression promotes and enhances the emotional and mental wellness of individuals of all ages. This artistic expression promotes internal processing of conflicts while reducing stress, enhancing self awareness and facilitating personal growth.

The goal of Lyrical Rhapsody Foundation is to facilitate opportunities of healing through the expressive arts. This vision was one formed years ago before Lyrical Rhapsody with Ginnie existed. Having personally experienced the healing of the creative process my goal is to share this experience with as many as possible. I invite you to take this journey of 'Healing Through the Expressive Arts' along with us.

May you walk in Beauty, Love, Light & Peace,

Ginnie Thompson, MA
